Specialist National Railway engineering contracting firm with a turnover of over £300m part of a major international engineering group with a turnover that runs into the billions.Require a Senior Estimator to work in their head office in Doncaster, reporting to the Estimating Manager part of a team of 7 estimator working on an annual tender turnover of £250m - £500m with individual projects valued up to £100m.
Working within the rail industry the firms main client is Network Rail, however, also work for London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, Manchester Metro, Cross Rail and CTRL.
They are looking for a Estimator from a heavy civils background - must have civil engineering contractor estimating experience specific Rail experience although useful not essential.Should be experienced in estimating projects at least up to £5m.
The projects they work on our multi-disciplinary rail projects - such as: P-way, Trackwork, signalling, Over head line (OHL), Power Supply, Off track civils.
