Civil Engineering Jobs : Seniort Planner, Cheshire, £45 - £55,000 + Pkg DOE
A Regional Civil Engineering with proven and extensive civil engineering experience has an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner to join our expanding regional North West team. Working within our existing work winning team the your role will be to provide both tender planning and support as required to live projects.
Responsibilities
Produce fully resourced and logic linked tender programmes
Produce methodology statements and phasing diagrams for tender quality submissions
Attend client interviews to explain our planning proposals
Develop tender programmes to obtain Client acceptance
Produce updated project programmes showing progress to date
Introduce compensation event activities into programmes and advise effects
Ensure that all issues within the programme are highlighted and understood by senior management
Give appropriate planning advice and support to project teams where required
Requirements
Previous civil engineering site experience ideally at Sub Agent/Agent level on transport or infrastructure projects
Previous experience of project planning and knowledge of critical path analysis
Knowledge of planning requirements under the NEC forms of contract
Ability to work to challenging tender deadlines
Working knowledge of Primavera Suretrak or similar planning software
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software
