Civil Engineering Jobs : Project Manager, North Wales, £50 - £60,000 + Pkg
A Major civil engineering regional contractor seeks an Experienced Project Manager to manager a £32m Highways Design and Build scheme. Working as Part of the NW regional team, you will initially manage the highway scheme in North Wales before being integrated into the NW region managing a number of High profile projects.
The ideal person must have extensive experience of operating at PM level on civil engineering schemes, Previous experience of Highways / roads and Design and Build projects, degree qualified and have the ability to manage a project team.
Responsibilities
To profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction
Plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
Coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division
Ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely
Jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff
Liaison with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients
