Civil Engineering Jobs : Project Manager, London & SE - £50 - 55,000 + Pkg
A Regional Civil Engineering contractor with a proven and extensive civil engineering and project management skills, delivering engineering excellence through cost-efficient, client focused solutions from minor works through to major infrastructure projects. Due to an expanding order book, we have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage a high profile highways framework project in the London area.
Responsibilities
To profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction
Plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
Coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division
Ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely
Jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff
Liaison with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients
To deliver project schemes profitably and to time to enhance BBRCE’s reputation and look to further business
Requirements
Extensive experience in working on civil engineering projects in a similar role, specifically Highways, Rail and Bridges
Extensive experience of managing projects 10 million plus in value
HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering desirable
Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative
