Civil Engineering Jobs : Planner, South East, £40 - £45,000 + Pkg
One of the leading infrastructure, building and business services companies is seeking a Senior Planner to work on their South East HA Framework where works consist of: Highways widening, bridge repair and construction up to the value of £15m.
Responsible for bid winning and framework planning. Ideal candidates will be Degree Qualified; have worked on similar schemes before, Project Planning and Estimator Planning experience, an engineering background with experience on highways, bridges and roads. Worked on projects between £1m - £10m.
Duties Consist of:
Analysis of tender information and preparation of tender programmes
Prepare and issue master/contract programmes
Analysis of Labour Resource and Plant
Assess and evaluate construction methods and techniques
Recommend and evaluate prelims
Prepare procurement and information schedules
Advise on logistics and methods of working
Identify complex construction and associated risks / opportunities
Assess and report project progress positions, forecast project completion
Analysis of entitlements and assist in preparation of submissions
Accountable for specific areas of responsibility and deliverables and manages the associated risks
Delivers activities to support operational objectives for their specific contract, project or specialism
Inputs to planning activities with horizons of typically 6 months to one year
Interacts with client or users around specific work efforts and deliverables
Supports delivery of Health and Safety policy and standards
