Civil Engineering : Temporary Works Design Manager Dartford £40 - 60,000 + pkg
Working for an industry leading Building and Civil Engineering Main Contractor with a turnover in excess of a £4billion working within the groups Temporary Works Division. Temporary works is a shared service to the group working with both the infrastructure and construction divisions.
This very successful management contractor are looking for a Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer to step into a team leader role managing a small team of 4 temporary works designers and CAD technicians ensuring work is delivered to the correct standard and in a timely fashion, this is also a hands on design role. Reporting to the Head of temporary works your responsibility will be to provide design capability in the field of temporary works at both tender stage and project delivery stage.
The successful candidate will be a Degree qualified Civil Engineer (or related subject) ideally chartered with previous temporary works design experience ideally on both major civil engineering and construction projects, however, would consider someone with experience of producing temporary works designs on schemes above £20m on either construction or civil projects. Ideally the successful candidate will have temporary works design experience working for a main contractor, however, would still consider people from a consultancy background.
