Civil Engineering : Piling Operations Manager Canada £70 - 80k + Pkg
A Main Player within the Piling and foundation industry is seeking am operations Manager for their Canadian function. The group turn over is c£1.1billion and the Canada function turns over c£35m.
Managing multiple projects at anyone time you will be responsible for the total operation and commercial function. managing site teams reporting into a regional MD.
Responsibilities will include:
·Technical and operational expertise in one of the following core areas: Oceanography, Environmental, and Geosciences
·Ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to and fostering a positive QHSE culture
·Technical & commercial contract reviews
·Financial management of projects.
·Client liaison & ensuring clients expectations are exceeded
·Management of multiple projects
·Staff planning & line management
·Survey planning and prioritising survey requirements
·Vessel and subcontractor management
·Overseeing the management of the warehouse/equipment pool
·Ensuring all projects maintain high data returns
In addition, you will be central to supporting the success of the company, including identifying new opportunities, company representation and assisting in the preparation of tender documents. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will have responsibility for line management of key staff.
