Rail : Tram Link: Quality Manager Nottingham £40 - 50,000 + pkg
Experience Quality Manager required for £220m extension to Nottingham Tram working for a quality internationally renowned civil engineering contractor. Quality manager would of worked for a national civil engineering contractor and have experience on infrastructure projects.
Ideally the Quality Manager would be a Chartered Quality professional or on the route to chartership (CQI), will be a trained and experienced auditor and prior to their quality / assurance role have some relevant site experience would be ideal.
The quality Manager will ensure the works are carried out in compliance with required quality and assurance standards, and that the project quality objectives and targets are met. to ensure in conjunction with the Project Safety & Environment Manager, that the works are carried out safely and in compliance with Health & Safety legislation, client safety standards, and company policy and procedures.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for
• Contractor management system reviews
• Site quality tours
• Carrey out internal audits
• Analyse NCR process, trends and closures
• Execute quality inductions
• Chair site and engineering quality meetings
• Carry out vendor assessments
• Initiating process for review and approval of Activity Control Plans and ITP’s
• Manage external audits
