Rail : Project Manager (Civil CRE) London £50,000
Civil Engineering qualified Project Manager required for a national civil engineering main contractor to work on rail projects within Greater London.
You will be responsible for civil/rail projects up to the value for £10m, typically working on Network Rail projects and also some LUL projects. Projects will consist of Bridge Refurbishments/Replacements, Station modernisation/upgrades, platform extensions, depots, embankment stabilisations, tunnel repairs & structural works.
They are looking for someone to not only be able to deliver the projects, but also be a Network Rail nominated civils CRE and ideally also have bid management experience. The projects will be design and build competitive tender.
You will be working for a quality recognised civil engineering contractor with a stable order book and recently were awarded a major contract on the Cross Rail.
Candidate Specification
Must possess experience of successfully delivering civil engineering projects including structures & bridges for a main contractor.
Experience of successfully leading a project delivery team
Strong planning, programming, delivery and commercial skills
Must have significant rail exposure to Design & Construct activities.
Experience of rail is essential (Network Rail)
Relevant degree or civil qualification to allow them to be a Civils CRE
IT literate, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
Should have a reasonably stable employment background
