Oil and Gas : Senior Piping Engineer Teesside c£40 - £50k + Pkg

As a result are now recruiting experienced Senior Piping Engineers into our team to support the development and delivery of interesting and challenging projects in the UK, with arrange of onshore and offshore applications.
Based out of our NE Region The purpose of this role is to carry out design work in their specialist discipline group and to ensure personal compliance with current company policy, relevant legislation, company & clients requirements for Health, Safety and Environmental matters. The ideal person must be degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related discipline is preferred.
Strong experience in their discipline or a closely related discipline.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
To carry out specific design tasks delegated to him by the project discipline Engineer or Piping Manager as appropriate.
To be responsible for supervision of Engineers or other staff assigned to him by the project discipline Engineer or Piping Manager.
To be responsible for checking of design work in accordance with Company Procedures and approval of design work when authority has been delegated by the Piping Manager.
To carry out design tasks on proposals, delegated to him by the proposal discipline Engineer or the Piping Manager.
To assist the project discipline Engineer in planning for adequate resources and in monitoring and reporting design progress and manhour usage.
To liaise with other disciplines as required.
To provide support to Sales Department and Construction/Commissioning Departments as required.
To comply with Company Policy with regard to safety and environment.
