Very well run specialist multi-discipline engineering services company with a turnover approaching £200m are seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on power related projects from their office in Scotland. Working for clients such as Scottish Power, EDF and National Grid on projects such as Sub Station Refurbishments, HV Switchgear (up to 33kv), Transformers (up to 33kv), protection systems (up to 132kv.
The purpose of this role to ensure that the electrical engineering element for the assigned contract works are successfully delivered and margins maximised through the completion of works in a safe manner, to programme, within budget and to the agreed level of quality. The role will require input at tender stage with cost, technical and programme input ensuring completive and high quality submissions are compiled.
The successful candidate will have experience of successful managing a multi project electrical engineering delivery team either for a client or contractor organisation. You must have experience with electrical supply & control systems, preferably on projects within the electrical supply or generation industry. Understanding of electrical design development and procurement. Qualified electrical engineer. Previous Authorised Person appointments would be a distinct advantage, however, for the right candidate this training will be provided.
