Specialist environmental consultancy providing a wide range of environmental services to the upstream oil and gas industry in the UK and internationally, part of a larger group of companies employing over 1250 staff are looking to strengthen their Environmental team in Aberdeen.
The role will initially involve preparation of Petroleum Offshore Notifications (PONs) for the use and discharge of chemicals offshore, preparation of other types of environmental permits and the provision of environmental support to oil and gas clients around the world.
As you progress in this role you may be required to contribute to other work that is appropriate to your skills and experience, such as environmental impact assessments for oil and gas projects.

Essential Attributes
- Educated to a degree or equivalent standard.
- Well developed background knowledge in chemistry, toxicology, environmental engineering, marine ecology or a similar discipline.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with client personnel (mainly engineers).
- Excellent technical writing skills and competence in the Microsoft Office suite of software.
- Good communication, organisational and time management skills and a strong team player.
- You will be required to prepare proposals and supervise and mentor consultants.
Desirable Attributes
- Previous experience of consultancy
- Experience of the offshore oil and gas sector
- Experience of PON 15s and other environmental permits
