Project Manager required for a Section Manager position working on a New Sub-Surface Cross Rail Station in Central London valued in excess of £200m the Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of a large section of work valued to at least £50m and will have full profit and loss responsibility. The Section Manager /Project Manager will report to a Senior Project Manager who is responsible for a deliver who in turn reports to the Project Director. The Section Manager will be responsible for the new Station Fitout, and manage a team of some 30 management staff: Agents, Sub Agents, Engineers, planners, work manager etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
Co-ordination of all design development, value engineering and budget.
Management and development of Section team: Agents, Sub agents engineers etc
Liaising with multiple interfaces including Cross Rail, Network rail and London Underground.
Controlling costs, budgets and all site production.
Management of sub-contractors and contracts
Controlling costs, budgets and all site production
Production of target cost and planning of works
Co-ordination of all engineering solutions, build-ability and budget.
Effective management of assurance processes.
Successful candidate will be a Project Manager from a heavy civils background with experience delivering sub-surface stations or have undertaking major works on a major section 12 station. You will have been responsible for a project or section of works at least to the value of £40 - 50m and have a track record of delivery. In addition you would have experience managing large complex multi-disciplinary projects, managing multiple interfaces including network rail & LUL and successfully managed large project teams. You will have worked for major civil engineering contractors and be a qualified civil engineer.
